Games Ground 2026

Upcoming

Mentor Session: Game Dev Architecture, Pipelines & Team Workflows

· Time to be announced · Alte Münze, Berlin · Business Days

Overview

A one-hour Mentor Ground session at Games Ground 2026 for solo devs up to product leads with a game already underway. Open table, up to six mentees, and your project’s real problems on the agenda.

You don’t have to be the one writing the code, just close enough to your project’s problems to talk them through. Bring something that’s slowing you down or a setup decision you’re weighing.

Prefer game design mentoring instead? Say so when you book and we’ll go that way.

What we can get into

  • Structuring game data so content and features stop fighting each other
  • Setting up a release and content pipeline so shipping updates isn’t a manual hurdle race
  • Getting a build running reliably across platforms
  • Structuring CI and builds
  • Structuring a technical team or contractors so they don’t step on each other
  • Gameplay systems and architecture that hold up as the project grows
  • Or bring your own game dev topic and we see what we can do about it

Your mentor

  • Anton LichtAnton LichtCo-Founder & Game CreatorSudden Forest

Anton Licht is a game designer and developer with 15 years in the industry, and CEO and Co-Founder of Sudden Forest. He has worked at Wooga, King, and 5th Planet Games, with credits including June’s Journey or recent contributions to Vampire Therapist. With his team he is building Tidewind, a non-violent 3D action-adventure.
