Soba is a mobile platform where anyone can build and share multiplayer games without writing a line of code. The result is an open world full of player-made experiences. For three years I directed the platform’s feature and gameplay design as a freelancer.
Designing for creators is its own discipline: every feature is a tool someone else will make games with, so it has to be expressive, understandable and hard to break. I also hosted Soba’s game-design video series, teaching new creators the craft.
