June's Journey
Overview
Wooga’s flagship hidden-object mystery. The #1 hidden-object game worldwide, with $1B+ lifetime revenue and Facebook’s best web game award of 2017. I helped build it, ship it and run it live.
June’s Journey is the project people still ask me about, and honestly, I love talking about it. I was part of the cross-functional team at Wooga that built and shipped the game. I stayed on through live operations while millions of players got hooked on its 1920s mystery.
My work covered the full surface of a live mobile game: technical design, content and feature design, and implementation in Unity, always hand in hand with game design and UI/UX. Shipping a game is one skill. Keeping it fresh, stable and growing for a live audience is another. June’s Journey taught me both, at scale.
